創作自述：

創作一直是生活的反映，平日所感、所思及所見會影響自己選擇的主題與形式，通常在作品創作過程中才會發覺生活點滴在潛意識中烙下深刻痕跡。此次展出作品的內容完全是紀錄個人這兩年來生活的感受，特別是苦澀的部份。

梭織是以直向的經線和橫向的緯線做規則或不規律的交織而形成一種結構，從而產生圖紋並有色彩變化。雖然在1981年即自學手工梭織，也在不同學習單位研習手工梭織；但提花梭織是沒有機會接觸的領域。提花織法是梭織的一種類型，主要能創造不規律圖案，需要複雜的提花織布機才能製作。在1990年代末期創作者才有使用電腦提花手工梭織設備的機會，搭配個人電腦及繪圖軟體的普及，電腦提花手工梭織成為近年來纖維藝術中最蓬勃發展的表現形式。個人自2001年開始接觸電腦提花手工梭織，即持續摸索此形式的可能性。由熟悉基礎織法開始，到第十年始感覺到以經緯交織創造視覺語彙的自由度。

過去的作品處理了特殊材質，讓金屬材質的立體織物能夠在空間中自行站立。近兩年來試著回到傳統材料及傳統平面圖像表現的形式，尋求新視覺語彙的可能性。在提花梭織中圖像的色彩及紋樣都是由經緯交織的結構所決定的，每個設計的結構都以組織圖表示出設計中每一根經線和每一根緯線該提起或放下的規劃。此次實驗將梭織圖像重疊，兩個組織結構相遇時，會有某一個織紋被覆蓋而隱略至織物的背面，或是兩個組織同時並存而發生混色效果。另外當同一圖像複製、重疊又錯位時，形成鑲邊或陰影的效果。這些疊合所產生的變化和繪圖軟體中圖層重疊的情形是不同的，許多細節頗令人意外。稱為「意外」乃創作者主觀的感受，實際上在設計檔案時所見的組織圖與經緯線實際交織時常有落差，只能靠經驗判斷線材交織後可能的結果，而這種「意外」能減少織作時按圖施工的索然無味，當一支支緯線漸漸累積出圖像時，有驚訝、有愕然，當然也有驚喜。

色彩是給自己的一個命題，如何去創造情緒性或非協調的色彩表現；但又是美的色彩。特殊材質的試驗也持續進行，夜光線、反光線及變色線是目前實驗的材料。當織物結構中混有夜光和螢光線材，在紫外線照射下，似乎將實質的織物轉化成色光，成為一種輕盈、無量感的形。在不同光源或在黑暗中，不同圖像被一層層地揭示。色彩與光是無法分離的，起初覺得是兩個主題，再想想其實是相關的。
